The Vermont Sandwich Company in Scottsdale was established in 2006 with the goal of bringing the east coast, small town atmosphere into the desert landscape of Phoenix with fresh food and unique flavors. It wasn't long before Vermont Sandwich's massive specialty sandwiches became a 'must have' lunch for locals, visitors and bon vivants from around the world.

David Spengler and Jodi Jones are the entrepreneurs behind the food and the philosophy. "We don’t have a freezer nor do we believe in using canned or frozen prepared food. And we will maintain that philosophy of freshness." We are about the people, the community and building something that will last much longer than a sandwich. We're always looking for new faces, places and suggestions to help make us the top notch specialty deli for years and years to come.

More than just a sandwich shoppe, it's a place to see friends, make friends and be friends.

Dave and Jodi know the fresher the ingredients, the fresher the flavors and you will taste the difference in every bite. All our market-fresh vegetables are washed and cut daily. Our hand-tossed signature coleslaw, potato and pasta salads are prepared from scratch daily. And for dessert - our homemade cookies and sweet treats are baked (you guessed it) daily.

Taking the road less traveled. Patience is the key to our distinguished reputation and we don’t take short cuts. From slow roasting our seasoned Angus beef to our soups and cookies, we take the time to make everything from scratch, just like generations have done before us. We use old family recipes and create new ones on a regular basis.

Our unique menu and fresh ingredients! Take our most popular sandwich, The Vermonter - maple glazed turkey and honey ham with granny smith apples, cranberry mayo, romaine, thin sliced onion and cheddar cheese all on honey wheat bread – just enough sweetness and tartness to create a sensational taste you won’t find anywhere. Check out our other Signature Sandwiches, Wraps, Panini and salads and you will quickly understand why we are so popular.

Do you deliver? Yes! A minimum order amount will be requested and a delivery charge will be added.

Do you have vegetarian selection? Yes – the Green Mountain, the Green Monster and The Stowe – or personalize yours with a Built-To-Order!

Do you have gluten free menu items? Yes – any sandwich can be served "Naked" without the bread but into a lettuce wrap, and we often make glutton free soups. Just tell us you have an allergy and we would be happy to accommodate and recommend something just for you.
